Nail Polish

So we're at a red light on 8 Mile with a homeless person on one side of us and a very respectable sedan on the other. The 30-something professional rolled down his window to compliment me on my toenail polish. I'm thinking foot fetish? LOL Although, it is a cool shade of lavender.

Broken fan caused us to skip the northbound route on Woodward. Instead, in an effort to make it quickly to 75 N, we picked up 8 mile off Woodward. Can we say GHETTO?

Woodward Dream Cruise

Today's motorcycle ride is scheduled to be an outing down to D-town to check out the classics and hotrods. Our picnic is prepped, the bike is ready, but the weather is not ideal. According to the radar, the storm systems moving across Michigan will clear out in a while. We'll leave in a couple hours. Hopefully, the next post will include pictures!

Work and Play

Todd said to me last night, "The bike is just not the same without you. When I ride it to work it's more like a tool." Awe.......I miss riding the Dark Knight, too! Sunday evening, after relinquishing the kids to their other parents, we will take her out for a spin.

Saturday morning: ride along the water, breakfast at the Whitetail Cafe in East Tawas, and back to the Ben Franklin store for some land hermit crabs. Daddy Toddy was so intrigued we decided to start a colony (3 to start).

55 gallon fishtank was purchased off Craigslist before we left on this trip, too, so I guess we are officially entering the world of pet-ownership :)
